Helene Seidl

Helene Seidl studied visual and sound engineering at the Robert Schumann University in Düsseldorf. During her studies, she specialized in film sound post-production, Foley for film and worked at Ruhrsound Studios in Dortmund. After graduating, she started her own business in Berlin and was part of the studio community in Huttenstraße. For German and international productions like “Pina”, “In the Heart of the Sea” (Germ. “Im Herzen der See”), “Dark” or “1899” she worked as Foley and sound editor. In 2015 she was nominated at the prestigious MPSE Awards (Motion Picture Sound Editors) for her work as a sound editor in the film “Citizenfour”.

Since 2021 Helene lives and works near Munich.

Since 2016 she also teaches as a lecturer for sound editing at the Film Academy Ludwigsburg.
