In episode 13 of her podcast, US-American foley artist, author of the book “The Foley Grail” and university professor Vanessa Theme Ament talks to composer Daniel Nissenbaum about his way of starting a project, dealing with criticism, making mistakes and simply doing good work – the right music for every project. The parallels to foley and sound design are obvious, the path to the goal may be slightly different, the conditions are different – but the goal is the same.
