Normann Büttner, foley mixer, foley editor and operator of Meloton Sound Effects works in Munich in his own Foley stage.
His career began at SAE Munich, where he graduated in 1997 with an Audio Engineer Diploma and later a Bachelor in Recording Arts.
He also worked as a lecturer in electroacoustics, synchronization and film post-production at SAE for many years.
He made his first foley recordings with Jörn Poetzl for, among others, “Lola Runs”, followed by over 10 years of intensive collaboration with the legendary foley artist Mel Kutbay, whose customer base and studio he ultimately took over in 2011 and moved to new, lavishly expanded premises in Munich Sendling. Since then, foley recording and editing for countless productions from TV series to Oscar-nominated international feature films.
