Henrike Sommer

Henrike Sommer studied audiovisual media at the Stuttgart Media University and then film sound and sound design at the Filmakademie Baden-Wurttemberg. These studies combined her passion for sound and her interest in film. During her studies, Henrike Sommer was involved in numerous film projects as a sound designer, which won awards at many national and international festivals. Parallel to her studies, Henrike Sommer began working as an independent Foley artist and sound creator under the name “Sommerklänge”. Since 2022, she has been working full-time as a Foley artist. Her biggest passion is to tell stories through sound and to make them come alive, on stage, in cinema or on TV.
